Where

Where to go out in Bangkok? Looking for lesbian bars, lesbian clubs, etc?

The scene is not very big, but it does exist. It's not as obvious as the gay boy scene -- the girls here don't have their own special soi on Silom for instance (or two or three sois!). There are two major bars which are open daily, Zeta & Nine Bar, right across the street from each other. Both are very packed on the weekends, with Zeta being TOO packed after around 10 (think fire-hazard). There was another Saturday-only party called Lesla, but this party is currently on hold. I'll let you know when they return.

For more info on clubs & bars, check out the clubs and bars page. All the other bars and clubs which were mentioned elsewhere on the internet are all shut down.

Hungry?

There are a few restaurants which are owned by lesbians or gay friendly (well, this IS Thailand, what isn't gay friendly?), which sometimes become a bit of a community scene especially at night.

Go check out the restaurants page.

Where else can I go?

Don't want to eat? Don't want to go to a bar? How about a coffee shop? Maybe just girl watching?

Check out the Random Hangouts.

Want to meet other foreigners?

We have a foreign social group. You're welcome to join on one condition: you're female.

Are you Proud?

Pride is celebrated here in Bangkok in November.

Want to get out of Bkk?

There are some fun lesbian-themed things to do outside the city too!
